FAQ

Questions people ask before they come in

If yours is not here, call the clinic at (949) 997-3986 and a person will answer.

Do I need a referral to be seen?

No. We are a cash-pay clinic, so you do not need a referral or pre-authorization from another provider. You can book directly. Most people start with a Range Recovery Evaluation.

What happens at my first visit?

You get a full hour with a provider. They listen to your history, examine you, explain what is going on in plain language, and give you a written plan before you leave. No jargon, and no report you cannot read.

How long is a typical visit?

Sixty minutes, both for the initial Range Recovery Evaluation and for follow-up Recovery Visits. You are with your provider for that hour rather than handed off to an aide partway through.

Do you take insurance?

We are a cash-based, out-of-network clinic. We accept cash, credit, HSA, and FSA cards. We can provide a receipt for you to submit to your insurance if you have out-of-network benefits.

Do you treat people who are not athletes?

Yes. Most of our patients are simply people who want to move without pain and get back to normal life. Whether you surf, lift, run, hike, or just want to stop hurting, this is for you.

What do you offer besides physical therapy?

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy, IV therapy including NAD+, lab testing, DEXA body composition scans, PRP, and medical optimization for energy and hormones. Your physical therapy team and your medical team work in the same building, on the same plan.

How is this different from a regular physical therapy clinic?

You get about an hour one-on-one with your provider every visit, we combine hands-on therapy with recovery tools in the same session, and the medical side is in the same building rather than a referral across town.

Where are you located?

Range San Clemente is at 197 Avenida La Pata, San Clemente, CA 92673. We are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You can reach the clinic at (949) 997-3986.
